Description
At just 60 meters in diameter, this is the smallest type of Terran vessel capable of independent operations. Typically, they are classified as corvettes and attached directly to planetary bases or heavy fleet carriers. In this case, they are counted directly as part of their mothership's or base's complement. Some vessels of the same size are sometimes classified as ultra-light cruisers, owing to their differing equipment and independent deployment.

Depending on the class, Terran corvettes fulfill a variety of different roles, ranging from courier ships to escorts, militia vessels, and heavy strike craft.
