2 milleniums ago,
there was a war between the human world
& the other, the Underworld.
But somebody from the Underworld
woke up to justice
& stood up against this legion, alone.
His name was Sparda.
Later, he quietly reigned the human world
& continued preserve the harmony
until his death.
He became a legend.
The legendary dark knight, Sparda.
well, that's how the legend, the story of DMC actually begins (their official prolog of the game)

so, here's Sparda, the legendary father of the nowadays' devil hunter, Dante, & his deceased twin, Vergil
& also as Nero & his organization's worshipped god in Fortuna castle

this is my 1st time I draw daddy Sparda properly btw.... only draw him as chibi for a several time before
& I bet the bg here must be confusing too but I care less anyway, the Underworld of DMC tends to be creepy, strange & somewhat disgusting
while the lesser devils that all seen here are the one from DMC1; Plasma, DeathScythe, Shadow, Nobody & Blade respectively; but even these devils must think more than twice when facing this legendary dark knight of their own world (if u have play DMC1, u'll know how annoying & how powerful the above devils are)

although I don't know the way/style of how daddy's fights, I still draw him wealding Rebellion-sword on his right hand, Yamato-katana on left, while his infamous Sparda-sword, that have the same name with him, is weild behind his back daddy's coat is very troublesome to color too, esp those paterns
& judging from all those weapons that he left to his twin sons..... he must be an 1 hell of weapons collector!

wonder.... when is CAPCOM going to reveal more bout Sparda?? I wanna know more!
or in fact, I wanna see daddy goes SSStylish! lol
