Description
This is my Pyro cosplay featuring my new gloves and Triboniophorus tyrannus (aka Brain Slug). The gloves are yellow 'superhero' gloves that I bought from a Value Village and coloured in black with a heavy-duty Basics permanent marker (paint chipped too much off my last gloves for me to try it again). I made the brain slug myself out of felt material and stuffed it with cotton. I used beads for its eyes. It's attached to the black hood with safety pins on the inside.I'm still planning on doing a proper photoshoot with my full cosplay soon. This was just how I dressed up for anime club this past weekend

Thank you very much! I bought the jumpsuit quite a while ago, so I'm not sure I remember how much it was. I think it was around $30.

OH and what size is yours? I'm going to be doing Pyro too and am having trouble deciding what size I should order. I don't want it to look too tight or suuuuper baggy. <:Y

Oh this looks amazing! I had a question! Where did you get the boots and belts? Are those suspenders? And is the little pocket on the belt made of foam like the grenades? (Sorry for all the questions! I'm looking to dress up as Pyro for Halloween! )

I got the boots at Marks Work Warehouse. The belt for the grenades I got at an army surplus store (I got the suspenders there too, but you can pick up suspenders anywhere- second hand clothing shops usually have them). The pouch on the belt is a cardboard box covered in foam. There is velcro on it so that it stays closed and can still be opened to use for storage.

Yeah I used a red jumpsuit. It used to have a stripe down the front, but I took it off.

It was actually the perfect temperature to wear it the other day. It gets pretty cold around here, so having something as warm as this costume is great. It was REALLY hot to wear in May for Anime North, but for fall it's not too hot at all.
