What if Peter Quill survives the Snap in Avengers: Infinity War/Avengers: Endgame
(Option Two: Peter Quill retires at the Iron Lotus on Contraxia)
(Peter Quill goes into retirement after the Snap and Thanos used the Stones to destroy the Stones, makes his home at Iron Lotus on Contraxia where he spends his time partying and getting drunk)

In this, Peter Quill survives the Snap. Then when Thanos uses the Stones to destroy the Stones, the surviving Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy go on to different things. Peter Quill on his part decides to retire from the Guardians of the Galaxy, because after he learned that Thanos sacrificed Gamora for the Soul Stone and used the Stones to destroy the Stones, he had fallen into a deep depression. Peter Quill decided he can never completely recover from the loss of Gamora and can never move on in life without Gamora being part of his life. Peter Quill also made it very clear to the others that no matter how hard they try to get him better, it will never last long, and that the only way he can be permanently cured of his depression is if he has Gamora back in his life. And so, Peter Quill retires from the Guardians of the Galaxy, leaving Rocket and Nebula to take on the duties of being the Guardians of the Galaxy. Peter Quill moves to the Iron Lotus on the planet of Contraxia where he moves into an apartment complex on the borders of the Iron Lotus. There in the big square, Peter Quill spends his time with the visiting Ravagers clans and the locals of the Iron Lotus partying and getting drunk. It eventually goes on to the point where Peter Quill is now really fat and his hair is so very long that it touches his shoulders completely while his beard is so very long where it completely covers his chest. This continues on while Peter Quill is able to avoid getting alcohol poisoning.
