What if Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter both become the first 2 super soldiers and the leaders of the Avengers

Up into the events of “Captain Marvel”, Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter and Bucky Barnes are in their mid sixties and with Nick Fury doing the drafting, they form the Avengers consisting of Hank Pym/Ant Man (a S.H.E.I.L.D. scientist specialized in shrinking and size increasing capable particles he named Pym Particles), Janet van Dyne/Wasp (Hank Pym’s wife), Bucky Barnes, Howard Stark/Iron Man, and Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (who spends a certain amount of her time helping the Skrulls find a new home while having left behind an upgraded pager for the Avengers to contact her for whenever needed).

The Avengers at this point don’t do much because of there hardly being intergalactic threats. They just mainly focus on small stuff and going about their business. Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter mentor Tony Stark whenever Howard Stark and Obadiah Stane are not always available. This sets the road for Tony Stark to eventually become part of the Avengers.
