What if all the Guardians of the Galaxy survives the Snap in Avengers: Infinity War/ Avengers: Endgame
(Peter Quill and Gamora spend time alone together at the Guardians of the Galaxy's apartment on Sakaar)

When she and Drax, Mantis, Groot, Rocket, and Nebula break apart, Gamora joins in the partying for a few moments.
GAMORA (to Peter Quill): Let’s go take a walk.”

The rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy encourage Peter Quill to do it and he agrees since he wants to catch up with the time he has lost with Gamora.
Peter Quill and Gamora go to the apartment where Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy live together in. Peter Quill shows Gamora a very big view of the city of Sakaar through the window in the apartment.
PETER QUILL(to Gamora): Isn’t this a very great place?”

GAMORA: It is beautiful.Peter Quill lowers his head in a bit of sadness. Gamora notices this.

GAMORA: What’s wrong, Peter?

PETER QUILL (trying to keep his composure): Nothing major.

This is because he couldn’t bear to look at Gamora as he doesn’t know how she’ll react when he has to tell Gamora the truth about why he’s been spending his time partying and getting drunk to the point of being really fat. But Gamora can tell something is wrong with Peter Quill. She hates seeing him like this as it just isn’t him.

GAMORA (taking both of Peter Quill’s hands and forcing him to make eye contact with her and with a firm but gentle manner): Peter, I’ve known you long enough to know when you are lying and when you are not, and right now, you are not telling me the truth. Tell me what’s wrong. I can see that you’ve been getting drunk and fat. You’ve grown your hair and beard very long. And you’re just not being yourself. You can be open with me about your emotions and experiences. I love you more than anything, Peter, and I want to help you.

PETER QUILL (Realizing he cannot hide the truth from Gamora and because he trusts her judgement and as he reveals his sadness): When we were on Knowhere, I was doing what you made me promise I would do where I would pull the trigger on you if something went wrong, but I never expected Thanos to use the Reality Stone to turn my Quad Blasters into bubbles. And then on Titan, I was helping to stop Thanos, and when I demanded from Thanos to know where you were, I didn’t take the news about your death very well. When I learned what Thanos did to you, it made me so angry that I let it out on Thanos. And then when the Snap happened and Thanos used the Stones to destroy the Stones, I got really sad and I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to see you again. I came to decide that I could never get over what happened to you nor move on in life without you being part of it. And that is why I came to decide that spending my time getting drunk even to the point of getting really fat would help me to deal with the emotional trauma from losing you. I mean, Gamora, I love you more than anything and Thanos tried to take you away from me.

Gamora is very astonished at what Peter Quill revealed while also very happy that Peter Quill is being really honest with her as she realizes that it all makes sense as to why Peter Quill had been drinking so much and getting really fat and doing things he would not be doing when he’s not drunk. After a moment of taking it all in, Gamora very concerned for Peter Quill’s well-being and feeling very sorry for what he’s been going through closes the distance between herself and Peter Quill and pulls him into a very tight hug which Peter Quill returns as he buries his head on Gamora’s shoulder and severely bawls and Gamora encourages him to let out his emotions as she rubs his back.

GAMORA (whispering to Peter Quill with comfort as Peter Quill again cries on Gamora’s shoulder and buries his head in it): It’s okay, Quill. I’m here. And we’re finally together again. That’s all that matters now. You were doing the right thing when I made you promise to kill me if something went wrong when we went to Knowhere to try to stop Thanos.

And then instead of breaking apart, Gamora shares a passionate kiss with Peter Quill. And then when she and Peter Quill break apart, Gamora can see the pain is gone from Peter Quill’s eyes and is happy for that.

PETER QUILL: I love you so much.

GAMORA: I love you too, Peter.

PETER QUILL (having his questions): Just out of curiosity, Gamora, two questions. One, how did you come back? And two, how did you find me, Groot, Rocket, Drax, Mantis, and Nebula?

GAMORA: Thanks to this organization that upholds the laws over time called the Time Variance Authority, I was revived, but I had no memory of my time in Soul World as it all felt quick and stuff. And then the Time Variance Authority gave me a private rocket ship to take me to wherever I wanted to go. And then as for how I found you and Groot, Rocket, Drax, Mantis, and Nebula here, while I was looking for a place to go to, I picked up the signal from the part of the channel used by Rocket and Nebula in which they keep in contact with certain members of the Avengers and I overheard some information that allowed me to trace the signal from the part of the channel used by Rocket and Nebula to here.
