What if Peter Quill is the only member of the Guardians of the Galaxy to survive the Snap in Avengers: Infinity War/Avengers: Endgame

Peter Quill/Star-Lord is the only one amongst the Guardians of the Galaxy consisting of Rocket, Nebula, Drax, Mantis, and Groot to survive the Snap in "Avengers: Infinity War" while Gamora was sacrificed for the Soul Stone. Because of that, Peter Quill is able to get himself and Tony Stark off of Titan much better than Tony Stark and Nebula originally did thanks to Peter Quill's experiences as a pilot from since he was ten years old. As a result, Peter Quill and Tony Stark are able to return to Earth much earlier and regroup with the surviving Avengers. After that, pretty much everything else that follows is the same until when Peter Quill gives Carol Danvers a tip on Thanos' location in The Garden thanks to the information that Gamora would share with him. After when Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel returns, she reveals that Thanos had disintegrated from the Snap not long after showing up in The Garden while the Infinity Stones disappeared in the process although Thanos did not actually use the Stones to destroy the Stones. After that, the surviving Avengers go on to different things.

Tony Stark and Pepper Potts prepare for their wedding the following year. Bruce Banner merges his brains with the Hulk's strength thereby becoming Professor Hulk and goes on to be a celebrity. James Rhodes helps others around the world to recover from the Snap. Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers run the Avengers Compound while Clint Barton goes on to become Ronin after his family was amongst the victims of the Snap. As for Thor, he goes to be the King of New Asgard and sets it up in Tonsberg, Norway per Odin's request before he died with the Sakaarian Rebels and the surviving Asgardians making up Asgard. Peter Quill comes to live with Thor in New Asgard and they both go on to become drinking buddies and do dance-offs.
Peter Quill and Thor party and get drunk together as they become very fat and lazy and grow their hair and beads out to where they are Vikings. Peter Quill does this, because the pain from the loss of his entire team and also his girlfriend Gamora is too much for him to bear and decides to retire from the Guardians of the Galaxy and not have anything to do with forming a new Guardians of the Galaxy team since he is aware of Carol Danvers' existence and her capabilities of guarding the Universe herself, and because Peter Quill realizes that no matter how hard he tries to move on, moving on in life without Gamora will bring him no peace.
