What if the other half survives the Snap in Avengers: Infinity War/Avengers: Endgame
(Gamora saves Peter Quill from getting too drunk and they reunite)

While not angry, Gamora is very concerned for Peter Quill’s health and well being and she has seen enough as she cannot bear to see Peter Quill like this, because it just isn’t him. And so she does what any girlfriend would do for their boyfriend who gets too drunk. In the midst of his wild singing, Peter Quill lifts a bottle of beer he has in his right hand up to his lips and is about to take a drink out of it when Gamora suddenly comes out of nowhere through the midst of the audience and grabs Peter Quill by the wrist and holds it firmly away from his lips and rendering it immobile thereby making it impossible for Peter Quill to take a drink from his bottle of beer. The audience and the surviving Guardians of the Galaxy are very astonished at who they are seeing as the music comes to a sudden halt. Peter Quill is unable to move his arm, because Gamora is too strong.

AUDIENCE #1: Is that…?

AUDIENCE #2: How can it be…?

GAMORA (to Peter Quill): Drink that, and the only thing you’re gonna feel is a broken jaw.

PETER QUILL (with recognition and broken out of his drunkenness by the shock of Gamora alive and well): Gamora…?

Despite being able to tell that it is one of Gamora’s ways of getting his attention, Peter Quill realizes that Gamora is not kidding around with what she said she will do. And so, without Peter Quill resisting, Gamora takes the bottle of beer out of his hand and puts it aside. And then before Peter Quill can say anything, Gamora pulls him into a very tight hug which he returns as he is crying his eyes out.

PETER QUILL: I’ve really missed you, Gamora. I can’t believe I got you back.

GAMORA: I’ve really missed you too, Peter.

The entire audience and the surviving Guardians of the Galaxy cheer Peter Quill and Gamora on as they have finally reunited.
