Things are only getting more and more confusing for Meggy. Human limbs, PTSD, Splatfest training, and NOW she finds out that there are millions of other worlds out there with millions of other versions of herself. Markus was right when he said the multiverse was totally a thing! Next thing she knows, she has landed in this weird version of Inkopolis Plaza where all the universes clump together and Inklings from across the worlds meet up. After a heartfelt reunion with a still-Inkling version of herself, they came across another one of them that quite a different story. A trans Meggy, Ngyes to Woomy. Poor little alternate looked incredibly nervous walking around. Like she felt like she didn't belong. But as any good Meggy knows, a Meggy is a Meggy. No matter what they are on the outside.

Fun fact, I was going to upload a sort of bio for my Inksona, because I guess I've learned nothing from Traveller and his multiple incarnations, but I don't have that on St.ash and for reasons beyond my control and patience, I do not have internet on my computer. Laptop's fine, though, so you get ANOTHER HuMeg picture, tough shit. At least this one is topical considering the SMG4 episode that came out today. Not to spoil anything, but...I kind of called it with Meggy having kinda-PTSD back in It's Nice to be Nice. Alongside...everything else I predicted. Damn, Meggy's really been getting flung through the wringer lately, hasn't she? As someone who made insane versions of every Idol, I don't judge. Misery builds character, I suppose.
Also, this one's kind of based off of something else? There is a user called DolphinComix and they have their own AU version of Meggy that is, indeed, an MtF Transgender. It starts in this image; www.deviantart.com/dolphincomi… and goes from there. But thankfully they have a very loving and supporting Tari who is ready to help them through this (which this latest episode has proven is pretty accurate, so that's good) and it's all very fascinating. I don't get involved in the actual minefield that is "gender politics", so when I see something like this I'm just, "...Oh hey this is cool". And I guess I got inspired. And ye, that is supposed to be Comix's Meggy. Hence why she has two eye colours, as does that version. Really I'm still getting used to the HuMegy model and it's weird-ass proportions compared to Inklings (she is about the same height as them, but with standard human form. So she is TINY compared to them). As for the weird angle of the shot, WELL I forgot to remove a few things before I uninstalled their assets for space, so I get big red glowing error messages I can't remove, GMOD WHY DO YOU DO THIS. Anyway, This is like the only shot where it looked fine. Aaaand War Marie's in-shot in the corner, god damn it.

how did you even find me?? i've literally never seen you around on deviantart, so this is DEFINITELY a surprise to me, but really, i'm flattered that you've acknowledged my trans au for meggy!! i've gotten praise for it while others... not so much... but still, i find the praise to be really motivating to me to make more trans-esque art for meggy c:
i'm just gonna assume you like it, for you said you were inspired?? so thank you, i'm really flattered as i said before uwu! i'm glad someone has been inspired by my work like this! i love the heterochromia meggy you put in there hehe!! she WAS portrayed with green eyes at first, and sometimes blue, but it eventually resulted in pink eyes, so i did the combination of both because why not?? i've only seen like one artist who's given her heterochromia and it's a bit sad but, it's okay LOL
as for the mentioning of tari, they're girlfriends in my AU, i've said that before on one of my artworks of trans meggy so you probably know, and i try to portray tari as the most loving and supporting person for meggy!! same with the rest of the gang, like mario and saiko c: i like to see that meggy's friends support her as being trans and they love her the same uwu
i honestly don't know what else to say, i'm just rly happy you were inspired and like my trans au! as i said in the beginning, i was scared this was gonna be shade thrown at me for making meggy trans the moment i got the notification but boy i was wrong LOL
