Marina: Uh, okay, I guess? You?

Pearl: I'm gooood! Hey, congrats for winning that last Splatfest, you know? Even though, Time Travel TOTALLY should've won.

Marina: Well, the public spoke, Pearlie. *giggle*

Pearl: Yeah, yeah, I know. I, uh...got you a little gift.

Marina: For me? Oh Pearlie, you shouldn't have! What is it?

Pearl: Well...okay, I was noticing a few things. You struggle to keep eye contact, you're really, uh...obsessed with machines and stuff. You say and do a lotta weird things outta context, that sorta thing.

Marina: You...think I'm weird?

Pearl: Wha-NO! No, oh boy no! But, uh, I was kinda putting the pieces together from experience with my own family. 'Rina, were you ever...diagnosed with something, uh, Aspergers?

Marina: ...No? Mental stuff was never really a thing in Octo Canyon...

Pearl: Well, I think you got it. We'll have to make sure officially, but all the signs are there. So I thought, you won that Splatfest, I'm gonna buy you a toy that people with Aspergers like. It's called a fidget spinner. All the rage in human times. You place it between your thumb and finger, then spin it.

Marina: *gasp* Oh, it's even in my colour, too! I love it so much! Oh, thank you so much, Pearlie! I love you!

Pearl: Heh, l-love you too, 'Rina.

Pearl is a supportive girlfriend to Marina and there is NOTHING you people can say to prove otherwise.

So, a little backstory. Basically, someone on Reddit was showing off an image they made of Marina age 10, right? She's holding a robot toy with tentacles that look like those tangle toys that people on the Autism spectrum are drawn to, myself included. And then they explained in the comments that it's because they headcanon Marina as having Aspergers Syndrome and that the tangle toy tentacles was an intentional thing. As someone on the spectrum myself, if somewhat mildly, Marina having AS is a headcanon I can absolutely get behind, 100%. So I decided to make a GMOD image of 'Rina with a tangle toy...buuuuuuut there are no tangle toy models on Gmod's Workshop. Hmm. So I compromised with the other fidget toy that got popular, the spinner. I have like eight of the damn things; White, Red, Purple with Lights, Cyan, two tiny ones I won at Butlins, a rainbow one I won at the fair and a Luigi-branded one. I like that last one a lot. Anyway, it's still got a few issues, like the perspective on the spinner looks weird (she's holding it with her thumb and middle finger, BTW), and yes her zipper is clipping into her stomach (I didn't see that until posting this), but overall I'm proud of it. I hope ye enjoy.
