Oooh hello, what be this?! Tragedy at the Mushroom Kingdom Castle! It was but another ordinary day; Mario was humping his spaghetti, SMG4 makin' his memes. Tari gaming, Saiko flaming, Meggy...well Meggy was just being the same old bean she is. :3 But then, explosions rock the castle! People are thrown this way and that. The castle is under attack! The group rush out to the front to defend...but it's too late. Whoever they're fighting, they have the speed and power of a freight train. They didn't stand a chance. Tari has a concussion, Meggy's got a broken leg, Bob is...yeah he's on fire. The others are too wounded to stand. And there, in the castle corridor, stand squids. The ones they had been running from for a while. But their eyes are...weird. Black, and red, and blue. From out of the shadows steps the leader of this attack. Shotgun and roller in hand. Red beanie. White shirt. Brown boots...wait a minute.
"Certainly nice to see you again...Red."
Fun fact, this was supposed to be a standalone piece showing War Megs getting her revenge. Even dressed up in her old garb to do it. But then Meggy's Destiny came out, and I made A Red Eye Under Jade Glass, aaaaaaaand now we're here. Hence why AREUJG ended as it did, with her outside the Castle in her classic garb. Just, ignore the fact she doesn't have the shotgun here. Shush. Don't mention it.
