Thank you so much, you wont believe the amount of tutorials that lack probably the most important thing, quality. I'm sure in the future (once I've improved my drawing skills for people and backgrounds) this should become of much use, and I can't find any fault in it. Thank you so much for this tutorial, it really brings out the main details that most images lack. Thank you!

good one
but about the last part... art is not about pursue of popularity.
I'd prefer to make something that would scare people than make them think 'oh, nice pic!... next!'
but still, thanks for some ideas and clues!

The art of these artists make mine look like complete crap and it kinda discourages me. But, then again, they are talented professionals. Also, it makes me admire the details and time of their work and encourges me to become better at digital art. I love this. Thank you so much for sharing! Very helpful! I will use these tips in the future!

(Sorry for my awful English, but I don't know if I'm able or not to write long comments, it's not my first language.)
So. For a start: I'm not here for trolling or to make trouble. I'm just giving my opinion, and I have nothing against you personally. That's a long and complete tutorial. I think you've spend a lot of time in writing this and I applaud your effort.
But. There's a lot of things about I completly disagree. So, since I can't express my thought correctly and write volumes, I'm just going to enumerate. I don't mind if you don't want to read, but I wanted to say it.
- For the faces and head: I think there isn't just one way to draw faces! Minimalism, realism, anime, comics... Draw in anime style isn't the ONLY way to draw beautiful pictures. Okay, I agree, it's awful whan a face don't suit perspective and anatomy rules, but there's some artist who draw faces in a very simple style, like just two points for the eyes and a line for the moth, but that is still beautiful! (e.g. Anouk Ricard, a really talented French cartoonist).
- A word about the term of "beautiful faces": characters don't necessarly have to be beatiful. That's not like evrybody was perfect, symetrical, with a little pretty nose, red cheeks and lovely smile. The faces you give in example suit all just one beauty ideal, but if you take off the hair, the clothes and the colors of the eyes, they've all got the same face! Living art includes peoples who sometimes have a big nose, are chubby, have rings under eyes. That's variety wo makes art living.
- Anatomy: learn anatomy is the best way to understang your own work! But I won't say too much about it, I saw that someone have already done it.
- Colors: the "pale colors tip" is good if you don't want to "waste time" in combine colors, but I think the brightness of the picture depends on the emotion you want your public to feel and not on the facility.
- Dimensions: Even if 3D is very interesting, 1D can ben interesting too in case of minimalism, pixel-art, childish style...
- Emotions: I agree with you, emotions are important, but the examples you give are bad: character's emotions are "masks", they don't suit the character face, they're just like emoticons, not faces. Furthermore, that's juste basic expressions like sadness, hapiness, etc... Humans can feel more like that! Treason feeling, despair, loneliness...
- Cleanart: Sometimes, mess are beautiful and give dynamism to the picture! Over again, there's not ONE universal way to line correctly, that's a question of style!
- Details: Once again minimalism can be pretty, and too much details can be heavy. You must grade correctly depending on the picture's atmosphere.
That's it. Sorry for the tl;dr, horrible, bad-writed comment.

Hi, thank you for such detailed comment
About your english: I'm understood all without dictionary (generally, if an American or English writing, I do not understand 50% of text))
- Faces: Yes, i'm agree - there are many kind and styles of facesc - realism, cartoons, minimalism and etc (and i like fore example realism faces more than anime), but when you only learn to draw faces of any type - there is only one way: build head and face. If you already master, you can draw face in any style for 3 seconds whitout prior constructing. I am sure that when the Anouk Ricard just learning to draw he builded heads (learned skull, face anatome and etc).
In general, I just wanted to draw attention to novices, that competent faces is very important, and that if face is crooked, ugly, wrong, the picture is not successful, even if everything else in her well.
- Colors. Colors are too subjective. There are 1000nds colors schemes, styles and types of colors. I just have described above average, the most common scheme (in anime).
- Dimensions. Yes, there are many fascinaiting 1D-paintings. But i think, if artist want to improve his skills, he must learn to paint 3d and perspective. Artist can draw from the cradle to the grave 1d-pictures and say to hisself: "Leonardo drawed as me, Rambrand draw as me and etc". It's sounds like an excuse. I think - everyone artist should strive to draw better than Leonardo
Details: Yes, details not very important - I give them last place in tut
In general, the lesson is similar to the assembly car. I said: "The car must be with the wheels .. preferably with alloy wheels." People in comments say: "No, forged wheels better!... and you can still travel by plane or boat." The main thing is not forgotten at least some wheels

Well, then we're in accord. And the problem I had with this tutorial was especially an understanding problem, because when I readed I feel like the tut's words said "That's like that and not otherwise". So I'm glad I was wrong, and thank you to read me anyway ^^

...the hell?
This isn't a bad tutorial at all, but seriously? And body proportions change quite a bit with age, which relates to the "correct anatomy" thing...
