I'm going camping tonight... so I won't have enough time to finish a project picture for today. I've started working on one though... so hopefully it will be up this weekend.

Her character Lismina
(yes... that is a teddy-platypus-bear that she is hugging on the bottom
... I assume her great-uncle Iroh got it for her from Ba Sing Se)...

I tried to be really expressive with these (which is why I didn't color all of them... I wasn't sure if all of the expressions fit her personality exactly).
After a while... I realized my expressions were all negative... so I did a few uber-cute ones to compensate
I hope I got the hair and skin tone right. Also, I meant to do a shy one...
If you like any of the other ones, I can color those as well. Or, I can do other sketches like these pretty quickly
...

Wow, these are so cool! We all love the canon characters so it's easy to get fixated on them.
*IF* you were looking for a new challenge, it might be fun to draw some pics of Tenzin, especially since we don't know what he looks like yet. You could draw him at various ages or various poses or moods, really anything that you find inspiration from, for the son of Aang and Katara.

Yeah... OC's give me a lot more room as an artist to create
I thought about it... but I don't want to do a picture of a character that may (who am I kidding... WILL) turn out wrong
I thought about doing a picture of Katara and Aang with him as a baby, perhaps as a cliche kiss scene where she's holding the child and he's kissing the back of his head. It could be very tender and sweet
