Description Wow, so this is actually a traditional piece. I decided i wanted to get my hands dirty and actually paint this one. It's absolutely horrible but i still like it haha. I haven't done any traditional painting for like six years so i'm a wee bit rusty.

I used a combination of watercolors, a pen and sharpie, and some whiteout paint. All in all it was a good experience and i learned a lot from it. I'll definitely be trying it again soon.

Thanks Ralph! It's so true. Working in a traditional media will really help when working in digital (and i've found that the opposite is true too...i've gotten much more confident by working digital which helped with this piece enormously).

I'll definitely be working to perfect my traditional skills.

What are you talking about?! It looks great! Did you use masking tape on the edges?

These have got a lot of character, Matt, glad to see them everyday.

Thanks Evan, i appreciate it. It was definitely a learning experience.

I did in fact use masking tape on the sides. That's probably my favorite part of the whole piece lol.
