Blackest Night is pretty much the most fun comics event in years. If you want to get in on the fun, the only titles you need to read are Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Blackest Night. There are a ton of tie-in crossover books too, but nothing at all happens in any of them (though for crossover books they are better than you'd expect).

And if you don't know who Captain Planet is, all you need to know is that he's a hero. And he's going to take pollution down to zero.

And for anyone who wants to know ont he lantern part we have(starting top left):
