For more Lil Formers head to www.LilFormers.comBlackest Night is pretty much the most fun comics event in years. If you want to get in on the fun, the only titles you need to read are Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Blackest Night. There are a ton of tie-in crossover books too, but nothing at all happens in any of them (though for crossover books they are better than you'd expect).
And if you don't know who Captain Planet is, all you need to know is that he's a hero. And he's going to take pollution down to zero.
And for anyone who wants to know ont he lantern part we have(starting top left):
Sinestro(Yellow Lantern), Indigo-1(Indigo Lantern), Atrocitus(Red Lantern), Saint Walker(Blue Lantern), Agent Orange(Orange Lantern), Hal Jordan(Green Lantern) and Carol Ferris(Star Sapphire)

I gotta say, I've been enjoying Blackest Night a lot so far, I've been collecting it and all the tie-ins, and the only thing that I didn't like was what happened to Kyle Rayner last week(I won't say anything in case you haven't read it yet).

I'm guessing Kyle returns very shortly to led the Blue Lanterns. Hal can't do it as he's gott he movie coming up and they won't want to change his status quo. Plus Hal has his own series called GREEN Lantern heh.

Yeah, I was actually thinking they were going to have Kyle turn into a Blue Lantern before they made Hal that Hybrid Lantern, which may have been forshadowing for him(if and when there is a White Lantern, it's going to be Hal since he's had the most contact with other lantern colors).
And yeah, whenever a movie or show comes along, it seems they always want the comics to match it, I guess to try to make it seem more inviting for people who see the movie or whatever and decide to check out the actual comics. Still, while Kyle is the most likely candidate for Blue Lantern status if/when he comes back, it's still kinda unlikely since he is the "Torchbearer," which is another reason why Hal was unlikely to change colors permanently, being the "Greatest of the Green Lanterns" and all.

the February solicitations shows the cover of GLC had Guy Gardner still on red attacking what is supposed to be an alive Kyle rayner...
on a similar note, the feb's GC cover had a picture of hal charging up... but had white hair and wearing his PARALLAX costume

On red? You mean using red lantern light? That could be a representation of his anger over Kyle's death since cover's rarely depict a scene from the actual comic these days, or maybe Kyle comes back as a Black Lantern. Still, here's hoping Kyle comes back quickly.

Seriously, to someone who never cared about Green Lantern the premise of Blackest Night sounds like a Silver Era or 80s Saturday Morning Cartoon plot.

And I need to check me some of those comics some point. Always gets confusing what to get with all these different issues laying around. (At least the UK Collection Comics for Marvel and DC have up to three issues a month, from recent ones to classic stories)

See, I think Blackest Night will end with Hal Jordan, white lantern pimp! He'll get a bunch of rings in all the colors for each finger, plus the indigo pimp cane to round it out. Add a coat and hat and get a few star sapphires on each arm and voila! Universe saved somehow.
