For more Lil Formers head to www.LilFormers.comBlackest Night is pretty much the most fun comics event in years. If you want to get in on the fun, the only titles you need to read are Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Blackest Night. There are a ton of tie-in crossover books too, but nothing at all happens in any of them (though for crossover books they are better than you'd expect).
And if you don't know who Captain Planet is, all you need to know is that he's a hero. And he's going to take pollution down to zero.
And for anyone who wants to know ont he lantern part we have(starting top left):
Sinestro(Yellow Lantern), Indigo-1(Indigo Lantern), Atrocitus(Red Lantern), Saint Walker(Blue Lantern), Agent Orange(Orange Lantern), Hal Jordan(Green Lantern) and Carol Ferris(Star Sapphire)

Ok, I just read through Blackest Night issue 5 and the (Earth baced) lanterns did referance Captian Planet. Luckely, Capten Planet didn't come out. Unluckely, something worse happened.

I love Saint's fearful look, such a contradiction to Blue Lanterns, hopefully BN GL Corps gives more weight to the story, instead of BN Teen Titans.

Haven't read Blackest Night yet, but I like this! Have you read any of the other Geoff Johns GL stuff, like Sinestro Corps War? Is it any good?

yup! pretty much everything on green lantern has been great, except for the first story ark on the ongoing series drawn by Pacheco (whch sucks cause he's my fav artist!)

Yeah. Actually I only recently started reading DC comics. Sadly there's only so much I can find at the library.
But I have watched Justice league and other DC shows. But it seems like I am behind on the news.

anyway... just to get you an idea w/o much spoilers (hopefully)
after Hal Jordan's return (GL: Rebirth) sinestro started his own corps known as... the Sinestro Corps, and then waged war against Oa (Sinestro Corps War)
During taht time it was revealed that a "War of light" will ignight featuring wars between different corps, once color from the rainbow each having their own emotion. during that, the black will come in and consume everything...
The Zamorans, the ones who gave carol the star sapphire way way back, turned the crystals into rings, hence.. became the violet.. i mean PINK lanterns of love, but known as star sapphire, red is rage, orange is avarice, yellow is fear, green is will, blue is hope, indigo is compassion...
that's more or less it unless i spoil off more

No problem, though be warned that a majority of those that are listed under the Green Lantern heading are those performed by individual Green Lanterns over the years

Quite so, quite so, though if it makes it easier, a majority of the people who made their own in the GLC are dead, so their oaths are sort of defunct
