So if you haven't been paying attention to comics lately...recently in the Hulk-verse:Hulk's pregnant wife was killed, and her unborn child believed dead as well...but wait, he's actually revealed to be alive! Now he's grown up, grumpy, sports some tribal tattoos & mangy hair, and has a variation of his dad's powers.
And recently in Wolverine-news:

Marvel: the house idea(singular)! Still, you can bet son-of-Hulk will eventually fight son-of-Wolverine.

Adding families into the mix could be good or bad. Depends on the character/superhero and the universe. Ah Marvel, hopefully more good things will come from them before they are forced into retirement.

I think it's time to retire the old stuff and get some new fresh stuff in the works, I mean, that's why there's a begining and end to every good manga (save for One Piece, which is still going because they haven't found the One Piece yet).
And what is with killing the wife or the girlfriend, or the mom? That's waaay too common in any format of storytelling but twice in Marvel? I sense some issues here.

I'm still holding out for my mini-series of the Blob dealing with his eating disorder. But then again, I guess Spider-man's Brand New Day was a subtle way of saying they can't handle everyday drama.

Probably a sign of retiring times for the old guard? after all, they should've done so sometime ago... otherwise they'd be running out of good storylines and starting to turn lame...(or clash with younger/ newer superheroes emergence..)
still, with brawl/ physical powers, it would be interesting if the offsprine turn the other way round...(eg: like being the gentler sort or something..)
