Shredder was revealed to be an Utrom (pink squidgy thingo) called Ch'rell, who was walking around in a humanoid mechanical suit. This was shown during the 2003 series.

Havn't heard of Turtles Forever, though. A quick Google search confirmed it was a Tv movie. Is it good? I might pick it up some time when I get the chance

...if you have not seen it you NEED to if you like ANYTHING about the Turtles. It was the last thing done of the Turtles before they were sold to Viacom and is the end of the 2003 series (and what some consider to be the end of the franchise itself no matter what else comes after).
