There were parts of the original Matador that I liked, and that i thought fit the description i was given rather well. Ultimately i was hoping that it was one of those frequent cases for BT mechs, where if you make it ugly enough, it becomes beautiful. It didn't work

This one i think still has some of the pretty ugly of the first one, but is a bit better conceptualized. It retains the short stature i wanted in the first one, with the low head and squashed torso. It's the basic weapons configuration, but some of the placements are moved or modified.

Always good to have some side irons in the fire to gradually get finished with those extra work day minutes. Also, a good time to try out different techniques for rendering
