Commissioned battletech scene. When you absolutely have to get some of your fighting machines to the surface even before your dropships, stick'em in a can and let'em go! Scaling is always a bit tricky when dealing with BT space assets, but the pod in the foreground has a 10m tall machine shoved in the front behind a smattering of disposable heat shielding. the later portion of the drop pod being for entry control and to act as something of a rocket powered sky crane if the machine inside isn't able to jump itself safely down. Fun times!
