I'm SO proud of this picture...first of all, because it's my first successful attempt at drawing Princess Azula...crazy be-otch princess of the fire nation. I've got the second half of that other picture mentioned in "Earth and Water" coming later this afternoon.This picture was so much fun to do...the fire was a challenge but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I wasn't always a fan of Azula...she's pure evil and it's hard to like a character that's so blatantly good or bad...but she does it so well...she's scary...really scary...the fact that she can lie without Toph being able to detect it...and smile while she's kicking her brother's butt...who doesn't like a character like that? Hope you like it.
I don't own this character...property of Nickelodeon.
Oh, and this is done in marker and color pencils...mostly marker.

That's what makes her awesome...she's almost as bad as Ozai...or maybe they're about the same as far as Badassness.
Few people can carry off being blatantly evil and still be a semi-likable character. At times I even feel bad for her.

I guess that's why I like Azula and Ozai so much. They are so bad and evil, yet still awesome. You're right, not many people can carry off both. And yet, they somehow do that.

I think it's because (at least in the case of Azula), they have personality. Azula's got some gusto and power to back up how evil she is...she can be evil because she's got the power to be so.

Wish I had half of her guts...I think I'd go far in life. LoL sure...I'd have no friends, except people that suck up to me because they're afraid of me.

LoL, but I don't think they really like her that much.
Mai is indifferent to pretty much everyone except Zuko.
Ty Lee...I think she's too airheaded to realize Azula is using her.
And it is saying something...when Azula is talking to the Dai Lee agents...and they're all about to wet themselves...yeah...scary and inspiring.

Oh yay! thank you so much! I am very proud of it...I had a hard time drawing Azula at first but this pose kind of inspired me...I'm so glad you like it...the clothing was part of the fun. I think I want to do another of her and the others in their beach attire as well.

It seems like Anime is overflowing with crazy chicks...though Avatar is not technically anime...But this girl is just nuts...she shows no emotion other than anger and amusement/superiority...
Azula (as Ty Lee does her performance on a tight rope): Incredible. Do you think she'll fall?
Circus Master: Of course not.
Azula: Then wouldn't it make it more interesting if you removed the net?
Circus Master: Uh...the thing is...the performers...
Azula: You're right, you're right. That's been done. I know. Set the net on fire.

Yeah that is pretty yikes. Of course Diva has her own little way of doing things that kind of creeps me out. I don't know any exact lines but she acts all childish, like a little girl, then goes all crazy and chops people in half, the lets out a little childish laugh. Creeps me out at times.

Something about children/childlike people is very creepy...An the most seemingly innocent things can be downright scary...for instance...
1.) dolls (child's play anyone?)
2.) clowns (IT...oh dear god...don't get me started!)
3.) kids in general (the Omen)
and the list goes on.

IT!!! Hehehe I used to be so scared of that movie. Now it's funny to me.
You know what I find really creepy, if a little girl was just a shadowy figure standing under a street lamp and there's no one else but you, then you hear her singing Ring Around the Rosie, and then she disappears in the blink of an eye but the song's still going. *Shudders* Makes me scared thinking about it.

Yikes! What made you think of that? (Ring around the Rosie thing?) I think I actually saw a preview recently that was something like that.
IT...the ending was amusing, but there were parts that really scared the stuffing out of me...his brother winking in the photo...the blood bubbling out of the sink. *gag*

Hehehe well that kind of stemed off this came called FEAR. You're basically on a wild goose chase to figure out why this one soldier went crazy and started eating people and throughout the game this little girl keeps appearing and at times tries to kill you. There's a point in the game where you descend a ladder and she just appears there in the dim light for a few seconds then vanishes. So I kind of paired that with the Ring around the Rosie song and that would have made the scene so much creepier.
The game you're thinking of I believe is Black Site Area 51, where the girl is holding a stuffed animal and then this weird bionic alien almost stomps on her.
For me it was the whole clown thing, cause I used to love clowns but after seeing that movie for the first time I was scared shitless of them. Even now at times I still feel a little scared around them. Funny I know but it's one of those child hood scars that I can't get rid of.

I know! Pennywise...that was his name...I can't watch that movie to this day...even though I know it's ridiculous...even when he turned into the different monsters and stuff...something about the clown with the sharp cannibal teeth...GAH! "You all float down here..."
My ex boyfriend made me watch it when we were together so I could "conquer my fear" of clowns...it just made it worse.

Yeah it never helps when you do stuff like that. Some fears are easier to conquer than others. And some fears just can't be conquered.

Like my fear of spiders...oh dear god...Arachniphobia...it was classified as a comedy...it's not funny. nothing about killer spiders infesting your house is funny! Them dropping on your head and crawling up your drain...it made me want to puke.
Have you seen "I am Legend" yet? That was a good movie...but it gave me a new fear...zombies...I know it's not realistic...but that movie made it a little too believable.

Now I can take spiders no problem, in fact there's one sitting on a wall behind me right now. Just a regular old house spider. It's those millipedes and centipedes like this [link] that I hate. *shudders* too many legs.

I opened that link and I actually started a bit...I have those too...lots of those in basements...and the pincers don't help...I hate spiders because where I live we have hobo spiders...gigantic and poisonous too...relative of the recluse.

Yeah I've seen them in my basment loads of times. One of these days I'm going to bring out my airsoft gun and just shoot it.
I've heard of those Hobo Spiders, I haven't seen one but I'd get a boot or something right away before it hid somewhere. Don't want to get those guys angry.

One actually came at me...scared the crap out of me. I trapped it under a garbage can and screamed for my dad. LoL!

Deffinatley effective. Hehehe I actually enjoy looking at the smashed bug, sometimes you hit them just right and their body's intact and the guts are smeared all over the place. They you can sort of see what's inside.
