I'm SO proud of this picture...first of all, because it's my first successful attempt at drawing Princess Azula...crazy be-otch princess of the fire nation. I've got the second half of that other picture mentioned in "Earth and Water" coming later this afternoon.This picture was so much fun to do...the fire was a challenge but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
I wasn't always a fan of Azula...she's pure evil and it's hard to like a character that's so blatantly good or bad...but she does it so well...she's scary...really scary...the fact that she can lie without Toph being able to detect it...and smile while she's kicking her brother's butt...who doesn't like a character like that? Hope you like it.
I don't own this character...property of Nickelodeon.
Oh, and this is done in marker and color pencils...mostly marker.

*shudder* Don't get many of those in my apartment now..thank GOD. I'm a real girly girl...just can't stand the things that creep and crawl. That and mice...I don't have anything against mice in general...but in the house? NO WAY...plus I worked at a pet store for a very short amount of time and learned to hate them a good deal.

Oh boy mice, you know I've always found that if I ever see one I am tempted to kill it. Weird I know but that changes if it's a pet. My friend has two of them as pets and they're so cute. But if I were to see one just randomly in my home I wouldn't think it was so cute.

Well because it's different...having friends over vs. an unwanted house guest...one that you have as a pet, you CHOSE to have in your house and it's usually contained...vs. one you didn't necessarily want, buy or know...one of them has probably had vaccinations and such and the other one is probably carrying around disesases with it...gross gross gross...especially if they get into your food *shudder*
It's funny...we had one in my house a long time ago, the only one we ever had, and strangely enough I was the only one to see it! It was in the basement and I saw it twice...but every time I started screaming (and jumping onto high furniture) and someone came into the room, it ran under a piece of furniture...then everyone in my family told me I was imagining it...one of my sisters even dared to say I was lying just to scare her. Then finally, someone else saw it...it was sad when we finally killed it....it looked smaller and less scary than I thought it would.

Yeah that's true. Sometimes that does happen, you're really scared of something and then you find out that it's not as scary as it really was. Of course then it can also be the other way around.

Hahaha...yeah...true. I wasn't afraid of the dark until I saw "I am Legend"...now I leave the night light on...and yes I have a night light.

Don't feel bad, I've got a night light too. I keep it just in case I let my mind wander too much before I fall a sleep and end up scaring myself. I don't know how I do it exactly.

Also a good reason to have one.
Plus if you get up in the middle of the night you don't run into things...once I walked upstairs and the lights were off...I didn't turn them on so I ran RIGHT into a wall...the next morning, my eyebrow/eyebrow ridge was swollen and black and blue...my mom looked at me and was all worried...my sister laughed.

Exactly, that's what I try to tell my friends too. Cause they think I'm too old to be having one. I would hate to run into the door at the top of the stairs in my bedroom (the basement) cause then I'd fall backwards and probably end up hitting the tv because there's only a railing on the one side.

Yeah, and I'd probably break the tv and my ps3. Don't want to break a $400 system. The TV's like ten years old so my parents are just waiting for it to kind of die off before getting a new one.

Yeah, but the Wii is fun also. I like the wii because you can get up and jump around while playing it. But the ps3 is just a better system in my opinion.

Great picture of Azula! I was actually thinking about cosplaying her at AnimeNext over the summer but then I was like 'Argh, too much sewing". >< Which is why I'm being San from Princess Mononoke instead. ^^

I wish I could be Toph, though I think I look a bit more like Aang at the present...very short dark hair...then again I never get to do any cosplay so it doesn't matter.

Another (and brilliantly crazy) idea was to attempt to make an amazing costume of Ryuk from Death Note. Boy, would that have come out horrible. XD
