Sorry it was so long in getting to you.

This did not take me long but the picture/profile of Mai has been in the works for some time...this is in the series I've been doing of the Avatar Girls (Bliss, The Little Water Bender, The Blind Bandit, etc)

And this character is slowly becoming my second favorite female Avatar Character....I never thought I'd say that. Mai now has a special place in my heart...she's a great character...even though she says so little...

Some of the proportions are still bothering me so I may re-work this later, but I'm pretty happy with it. I wanted it to have a sullen sad feeling...I imagine this is Mai right after she got Zuko's letter, saying he was leaving...I tried to incorporate lots of rain and stormy stuff here, even in her kimono...

I'm still a faithful fan of Maiko, so dont' diss this pic and don't diss Mai because she rules.

I saw it on Elfwood a long time ago...I might be wrong about the name.

Yup...I'm pretty sure it's Silvestris' work...fantastic Zelda art if it's the same artist I think it is...did a really amazing pic of Skullkid.

Yes, I know Silvestris! I had a bunch of her art saved in my favourites a couple of months back... And I was just looking through her gallery and I actually only saw ONE Zelda fan art. It was of Link and Dark Link.

I'd have to go back and check again, to see if it was her that did that picture of Skull Kid...

Yes...Mai is all about silent-screaming. She doesn't show her emotions that often....when she does, she's amazing. But it's not often.

I love it. Fantastic pic. Dripping rain, nice hair, great pose and expression....I think thicker rainfall might add to the feel of it. Trust me, if you want to reflect angst, just take a pen and slash away. It forms its own background, almost, and really adds to the heavy feel of the picture. When I did mine....just kept making as much rain as I could.

Glad to know that you're hearting Mai so much! SHE MUST BE HEARTED. I'm using that term a lot these days....

Great feel, thanks for the dedication! I'll chat more when I can return to the fandom....for now, I must draw my OWN Mai fanart. I'm spazzing too much about this girl.

LoL I wish it was May 6th....what's happening on May 6th? I heard they weren't releasing new episodes until July something.

I am getting to be a huge Mai fan. She's under-loved....
