Description

*at work, trying to remember the name of something* "The...Quick-Cold? Freeze Bucket? THE RAPICOOL! That's a stupid name; it sounds like a Pokemon!"

And here we are.

Some facts about Rapicool:

-On the Sketch I spelled it with a K as that's how it's spelled at work but I forgot when I did the font so the Pokemon's spelled with a C now. Fight me.

-Ice/Electric Jackalope Pokemon

-As it runs, it instantly freezes what its feet touch,and the ice-like crystals on its paws (I know bunnies don't have paw pads fight me) grip the surface, granting it traction whilst reducing traction for pursuers. (Any move involving kicks have a 5% chance of freezing the target.)

-Electricity runs up the antlers like a Jacob's Ladder and this is where all electric attacks emanate from (this is shamelessly for the aesthetic on my end because oh my gosh that would look so cool).

-Instead of sensing things with whiskers like many mammals, it has the same electric sensors in its nose that a shark does.

-Shiny version is black with ice blue gradients coming from ears and tail.

Facts about its preevolution, Nubbun:

-Okay guys full transparency I just wanted to draw a cute bunny and had never drawn one before

-Ice-Ground Jackalope Pokemon

-Tunnels under ice and snow until its speed (not its level) reaches a certain number, and then it evolves; it no longer needs the protection of a burrow as its speed allows it to evade most predators.

-The name derives from me not being able to think of anything but its antlers were "cute little nubbins" and I realized I could turn that into a palindrome (because palindromes are cool) that includes the word 'bun' in it without being as tacky as my original name plans.

I didn't put nearly as much thought into this as I place into most of my art. It was more a matter of "Let's get this idea onto paper so we can swiftly abandon it." It was done on my Canson marker paper (as my light board's still in transit), so pardon the lack of blending (not to mention I went into this knowing my scanner would murder the gradients anyway, as it's prone to doing for any blue-to-white aspects). All in all I was pretty lazy about the whole thing but it's kind of cute in the end? Plus I finally attempted to draw bunnies.
