What brush do you use most? Dou you airbrush or use the regular brush?

Amazing perspective and lovely color setting. I'm surprised that you know how to pull of fantasy settings just as good as scifi ones. Can I ask wich brush you use? Or what settings, because you really get this soft look... it's lovely.

Glad you liked the piece.
I mainly used Corel Painter 9, (don't know whether you have it) with artistic oil, my favorite brushes is dry brush to start the process, then fix the details with soft blender brush.
I have customized the dry brush so it has some texture to it.
Dry brush: size 38.0, Opacity 82%, Blend 50%, wetness 25%. (the rest are 0%)
Soft Blender brush:
a. Opacity 17%, Blend 71, Viscosity 15%
b. Opacity 73%, Blend 83, Viscosity 33%
That's it, overall I use pretty simple tools. I am still exploring what painter has to offer.

This helps me a lot Mayshing, thank you so very much. I know now when I get an actual digital art program that I am going to use this as reference. Not jus for the colors and steps but also for the character and overall pose. Everything is perfect thanks for posting it!^_^

Awesome. I love progress stuff like this. ^_^
I got a question. How exactly do you sketch? (Does that make sense?) Whenever I sketch, the lines are very uneven and messy. (Not the picture, the actual lines that make up the picture.) I kind of... "flick" my pencil in a way.
Also, what do you exactly draw with?
I don't think this is a good place to ask this question. >.>

erm...... -_-bbb how do I exactly answer that question.
You probably need to see my recorded animation, or paint chat with me in order to see that....
What you see is what you get, the first 2 picture of my progress speak of my sketchy quality. It's a very fast pace, I-do-not-care for mistake kind of sketch. If one line goes wrong I go to the next one. I usually start with the head first.
