This year, for the first time ever, I hosted a cookie exchange party. For those that are not familiar with the concept – each guest brings a set number of cookies and we split them between ourselves. Oh, and I put together a little recipe booklet with all of our recipes. We had so much fun that we decided that this will be a yearly event.

They really look very delicious! That time of the year starts soon, so I might try them out in a few weeks

And the inch/cm thing: 1/4 inch is about 0.6cm, not 6cm (a 6cm (around 2 1/3 inches) thick slice of dough would be a little too much ) and 1/3 inch is about 0.8cm for the thickness of the cookies. But that 6cm is wrong, everyone who uses cm should notice

ThatΒ΄s funny, haha
Well, with a little thinking everyone should be able to get those cookies right, even when the measurements are not right

Unfortunately I don't have the layers for that file any more so it will remain as it is. So people will have to rely on their logic

I have these in my faves already, but `SavageFrog has made a special feature for me today ( fav.me/d6dw99r ), and she included this glorious deviation, especially for my enjoyment!!! ... So please allow me to drool a little bit all over your page again

1/4 inch is 2cm or 6 cm? Because You write 1/4inch twice and every time it is different in centimeters. And 1/3 is 8cm?

I'm confused

maytel In reply to mill-chan [2013-02-28 19:04:33 +0000 UTC]

They do have a weird consistency before baking. Glad it worked out! I think I'll try a variation with peanut butter and see if that works too.

It's good, although don't believe what they say about it being a breakfast food, that's just crazy. I use it for desserts only.

SAVALISTE In reply to maytel [2012-12-21 16:22:35 +0000 UTC]

lol oki.. is it peanut butter or something?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

maytel In reply to SAVALISTE [2012-12-21 17:25:17 +0000 UTC]

no, it's spreadable like peanut butter but it's really not. It's like chocolate-hazelnut spread.

oh? we have brown and white kinds here. I've seen other colours from farms such as purple/pink and green/blue.

I am coming to steal your eggs. I've heard some people here say they happened upon a white batch here, but it's kinda rare. They're pretty much all brown. I think it's a breed thing, but not sure.

Yes, it depends on the chicken. I guess your chickens are brown?

I think most of them are. That said, on the way home from a concert tonight we were driving alongside a truck full of white chickens.
