Setting up to use it but I will say, this. Figuring out which textures go on which piece for use in Blender is pretty mesmerizing since there are so many pieces.

I know and I'm sorry about that. The only things in that set that were UV-mapped were the view screens. It never occured to me at the time to map everything else.

Oh I just now noticed the Poser Scene file in there. DAZ auto loads the textures in that regard. Silly old me. But even so this is hands down the best Klingon bridge I've seen the only other one I have is a low poly Bird of Prey bridge I found on the Star Trek Bridge Commander NexusMods page.

I thank you sir. I've built a couple of locations that no one else had thought of. My version of the Vulcan Amok Time Arena is still the only one I've ever heard of.

On that note that's how I'm treating the DSC Constitution in my fanverse. A TOS era Connie that got a TNG retrofit.

Well, you know how I feel about CBS's money grab, I'll hold my peace on that.

I was really interested in having a re-imagined Constitution class and that one was actually pretty close to what I had in mind.
As for the Klingons besides that D7 that showed up in season 2 forget it.
When it comes to the ships I'm pretty set on set pieces but the aliens themselves especially ones like the Jem'Hadar or Delta Quadrant races. Yep it looks like I'm on my own in that regard the only models of those characters I have are from Star Trek Online and they're not rigged.

Again, I know the feeling. I'm having that problem with my current series "Dickess". The non-Human races are SO non-human, I can't use a standard human base to create them. I'm having to use "mock-ups" and finish the designs in Photoshop. Here's a sample of what I mean:

Characters aren't the only thing I got from STO
I've got several Federation bridges and almost every ship. I'm doing a lot of large scale fleet battles and I found that lower poly models such as ripped game models are more forgiving on the computer than high poly models in that regard.

I found that out when I did the big 3 part story in my Nova Trek series. I raided the gaming sites for every ship I could find. Of course then I had to track down the programs I needed to convert them into obj files so I could use them. THEN, I had to re-work their texture maps, too. But it was worth it in the end to avoid an all Connie fleet.

I would've used the Klingon bridges from Star Trek Online but they seem un-naturally scaled up to me, along with most of the ship interiors from before about fall 2014 when the Delta Quadrant expansion was introduced. Probably to account for the game's 3rd person perspective.

I've seen some screenshots from STO and ALL of their sets looked way too big to me.

The Intrepid, Defiant, Galaxy and TOS Interiors are okay but that's about it.

Been thinking of doing a TNG-ized TOS Constitution Bridge. Of course that's what I interpreted the Discovery Constitution bridge as but that's just me.

And if you redress it, you get a Connie-refit torpedo room! Well, if the download was working on this one still, too. Insert energetic denigration of DA here (in Klingon.)

The torpedo room already exists:
I was not aware of any problem with any of my props as far as downloads are concerned. If there is, let me know and I will contact DA.

No, it's just some kind of hidden quota system on downloads. I waited a few hours and it was fine, just like the previous times this happened. Those made me suspicious, now I feel it's confirmed. Very nice models, regardless. Thanks for sharing them!

I'll take a look, though my reading queue is SUPER long. And being ignored in general at the moment since I'm on a visual art kick, but I'll get back to it ere long.

Thank you. have you taken a look at my Next Gen Romulan bridge? It's kind of a blend of the few bridges we saw in the series. Every time they needed one, they added to it.

One of the cool facts about the set is that it was redressed to be the torpedo bay in Star Trek II and III (The Latter only for a brief time) you could probably do that for this if you wanted to.
