Clere continued pulling her enemy into herself, lost in the moment and ignoring the panicked and angry roars. Then, suddenly, it was over. Before there had been a cacophony, earthquakes, and tangible anger; now there was only silence, and the rapidly fading undulations of Clere's distended abdomen. Within seconds her body started absorbing the meal, allowing its stretching legs to reach the ground once more. Once she regained her footing, Clere bit into the ground once more; it was meat, after all, and meat was food. She pulled up entire sections of landscape and swallowed them like they were sections of wet pizza. It tasted like ham. Smoked ham... Below her tiny creatures scrambled for safety, fleeing the featureless blue-green wall of smooth dragonhide that encroached on the landscape as it creaked and expanded...
