The idea: I've been a fan of this one-season series entitled The Queen of Swords. It's basically Zorro the female version. As the show had fans, it also had many detractors and critics questioning the originality of the concept. But for me, seeing the heroine, a beautiful refined young lady of the aristocrat class turning into one wicked sword-wielding crusader in all black was enough to make me say wow!

I did not alter anything on this character, What I drew here is basically the same character design concept that appeared on TV; even the fabric of the mask. (I think)

The history: I did this during one of the weekends when I was in 1st year college. That was the time when the series aired on local TV here in the Philippines.
