it's amazing how beautiful these birds are, and they're HUGE! not albatross size, but nevertheless very big birds... and they dive very deep underwater too... at least 20m under!

the first dive i ever did in my life was at the Poor Knights Islands near Whangarei, and when we were 15m under the water Ganets were swimming past our faces!
