Description
After removing most of my pre-digital photographs from dA in the beginning of the year. I have decided to upload a few selected photographs from my slide-shooting, Nikon F4s days.Enjoy.

brilliant shot! is it just me or are the two people standing some distance away in the tunnel. my first assumption was a road. isnt that dangerous ?? :S what kind of tunnel was this? were you in motion?

Also, you are absolutely right. It is a road. And there are people walking in the distance. The motion/light trail in the front right of the image is a car by the way,..
The tunnel is the "Alter Elbtunnel" in Hamburg, Germany. It is, obviously, quite old but it is still being used, even though it is more of a tourist attraction than a means of transport.
The tunnel bridges the "Elbe", a river running through Hamburg.
Oh and I was standing still,.. with my tripod of course

thank you for the reply! everything makes much more sense now. of course, i knew it was a road, but most tunnels i have been through dont have sidewalks to the side, so when i saw the two people in the distance, and that whoosh of the car to the right, lit seemed like a suicide attempt if you see what i mean....just a little eerie.

That one is really cool. Love the perspective and the colors. I don't know if it'll look better in b&w, though.

i tried B&W but in the end i felt the bw was getting too dark without achieving much impact. The colours help portrait the dark, hidden and very old characteristic features of this tunnel. So i decided to keep them
