Sonic goes up to a hot dog vendor and asks him for a chili dog. The vendor smiles at Sonic and begins to prepare his favorite food. However, an ominous shadow forms over them and they look up to see Metal Sonic and Eggman. “Talk about bad luck” said Sonic as the vendor and the rest of the townsfolk run away from dangerous duo.

Metal Sonic descends and lands infront of Sonic, scanning him. “What are you doing here Eggman?” asked Sonic in an annoyed tone. “Sonic, I wasn’t expecting to see you here.” said Eggman. Metal Sonic finished scanning Sonic and began to report to Eggman. “Scan complete, energy source detected” claimed Metal Sonic as he pointed his finger at Sonic.

Sonic looked confused as Eggman smiled sinisterly at him. “Energy source? Eggman what does he mean by that?” asked Sonic with concern. Eggman however brushes off his question and just gives Metal Sonic the command. “Metal, retrieve that pesky hedgehog” ordered Eggman.

Sonic’s eyes widened upon hearing that, knowing he’s in no condition to fight. He tries to run away but falls over on his face. “What’s the matter Sonic? You’re usually more durable than this?” said Eggman in a mocking and yet concerned tone. Sonic tries to get up but Metal Sonic attacks him, knocking him down. Sonic kept trying but still struggling with Metal constantly attacking him with every attempt. After several attempt to get up, Sonic collapsed and lost consciousness. Eggman laughed maniacally upon Sonic’s downfall and capture. “I finally captured Sonic! Now to extract that energy source out him and finally take over this troublesome planet once and for all” said Eggman as he and Metal Sonic leave the town to burn into nothingness.
