its wild out here! fatkat is my idea of what a studio should be. seriously, its a family here. all 30+ of us working here, ive never experienced the level of respect. ive worked here less than a week, and i feel that everyone here is a good friend. we all joke around, and thats one thing mercury could never offer, and thats why i feel that they fail as a studio. im just glad that studios can be fun to work at.

That's such awesome news to hear. AKA is just like that...we're a small studio and I feel it's more of a family than a place of work. I'm so glad you found a place you feel good to be in. I heard places like Studio B and Bardell etc. just don't have that appeal.

yeah, bardel seemed uninterresting, and studio b had the 'mercury' feel to it, so i never bothered with them.
all i can say is that after fatkat, im thinkin about bombarding AKA again! that is, if danny is happy with my work this time!

Yea, that's a long way to go for work. But I did the same when I moved from Toronto to here...and it was well worth it. You know how beautiful BC is. 
But yea...you should work there for a while, and if you ever have plans of coming back to VanCity try at AKA again...it's worth a shot. You can probably pick up a bunch of new skills out there to have under your belt.

for sure! ive been here a week, and i already miss vancouver.... i had to change it up though, i mean, ive lived there my whole life. the east coast is soo odd though! and why is is soo much colder here? hahaha......
im totally going to try hitting up AKA when i get back though, i think ill be experienced enough to at least try out for it... ill keep you posted on the progress!

These look great, you can tell their character just by the look of clothes and pose. The face on the guy is classic.
