Description
“Haunted”The way that he smelled
still lingers behind.
The feel of his hands
still shivers my skin.
The sound of his pleasure
still teases my mind.
The look from his eyes
still brings me to sin.
The taste of his kiss
still sweetens my lips.
The heat of his body
still keeps me warm.
The force of his passion
still bruises my hips.
The strength of his hold
still quiets my storm.
His memory lingers
no matter the time.
I’m haunted forever
of when he was mine.
Thank you to for allowing me to use his photo, [link]

Oh my gosh, it's only... (counting on my fingers)... 3 months since this was sent to me and I'm JUST NOW reading it! I'm so incredibly sorry for seeming not to care, I truly haven't been on dA in ages. I have lost my creative mojo and only come to peek in on my friends' latest creations. Apparently I don't peek ofthen enough!!
Thank you for the compliment. I'm very grateful!

Seriously?! That would be awesome! Either way...
I have lots of non-visual poems if you'd like to browse...if you see something that jumps out at you and have a photo that you think would go well, go for it! And I'll be sure to do the same.
Thank you!! Wow. How very cool. And thank you for the compliment.

Hey, is it possible that i get your email address. i wanted to show you a piece i did with that poem i love of yours and that pic that you liked of mine (the wrist of her/morning muse). i would love to show it to you and see what you think. it changes the tone of it and i did change two words of the piece to fit (i know how writer's get), so i would love to show it to you and see what you think.

im trying, i dont know how
what i did was put your piece poor substitute, on my photo morning muse, which is also called, the wrist of her.
you added the same photo to your, ooh so sexy, favs. anyway. i wanted to see what you thought because earlier today you mentioned i had any photos to go with your prose. well, im in the process of reading through all of yours.
there were a couple you dont have photos of, that i would go out and take photos just to match your prose. i was in an creative place tonight and your words move me. youre really in touch within. i wanted to send you a copy of what i did and get your opinion. to see if you would be willing to collaborate on a few. i get excited when i'm in a creative mood. if you dont like it, no big deal. the photo i used it with changes the tone just a bit, but i do like it.

I'd love to collaborate! I understand how it is when the creative bug bites, you have to DO or it's gone...and that's just depressing. That's where I've been for a while now. Every little bit I manage to squeak out makes me giddy!
As for what you're working on now, why don't you post it? I am not a diva about my stuff, really. I think the words and that image do go together well...rather fitting, actually.
We'll figure out a good way to communicate, whether it's here or email...no worries!

i didnt want to post YOUR work without your permission and i wanted you to see it before i posted it. i think all of your stuff is good, but some of it is just really really phenomenal. so it was out of creative respect.

You have my permission to post it. But if you want to wait, did attaching to an email not work? Was that the trouble?

i cant figure out how to attach it to the email on deviantart. i cant open the note you sent, its not there. youre a great artist, i couldn't do anything without your say. i respect your work too much. be well.

Oh...Okay, I understand. In order to send it through dA, it would have to be uploaded into your gallery. You can put it in your scraps folder, so that it doesn't post to the general public... Or, I'll resend my original note with my email address. That's easy enough.

Wow. Very impressive. It's so mellow yet sad but so very true. The only way I can think to describe this poem is that it leaves an after taste of sorrow in my mind and sprinkles of pity in my heart for all who are and will experience this. But as the old cliche saying goes: It's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

Thank you very much. I like how you described it... "after taste of sorrow in my mind and sprinkles of pity in my heart". I love that!
Cliches have a point. That one especially rings true, even though at the time it's the last thing you feel.
