Nobody likes to play with assholes, but sometimes there’s a story behind every player they had to play with. I heard way too many people dumping the MvM mode because of the teams they have to play with. I surely wouldn't stand that game mode for too long if I only played in Boot Camps
I take people like that with me on Mann Ups to show that this game mode is so much fun, once you have a reliable and a reasonable team.
About shotguns – none of them can be considered a terrible mistake to be picked. They don’t have any big downside like, for example, the Eureka Effect does.
It’s more a matter of dealing damage, which isn’t as important for Engie’s shotgun. That’s his sentry’s job.
The most recommended primaries are the ones that somewhat support the team.
I didn’t mention Gunslinger in the comic because That “wrench” is just bad. Sure, on MvM Dispenser is the most important building, but why would anybody choose to limit himself with a minisentry? Extra 25hp? It doesn’t make any big difference when you pretty much stay away from the robots.
And a quick explanation of the ending for the slower folks: This engi used to stick to the boot camp trainings and then complain about the bad teammates he had to deal with there, so Strict decided to show him a better side of the MvM and took him on a Mann Up together with his team.

well you can always try to trade for those tickets. They cost around 3.33ref as far as I remember.
...Killstealing on Boot Camp? What is this? League of Legends?

Trading is awesome. It actually keeps the game ALIVE.
if you won't find anybody who sells tickets for 3.33ref, I could sell those.

I don't think I can pay for it though since I got everything I have from other people gifting me or by finding random stuff.
also, trading ruins the game because its always like this; you're in a tf2 server, having fun on a PvP map, no friendlies. you're chatting with your teammates until you realize that you can't even read responses or locations because the chat is flooded with 'selling hats 1 ref', 'who wants to trade?' and '-insert name here- accept my trade request!' messages. people send friend requests to others just because they want the hat that a person was wearing and then they'll never speak again. normal tf2 conversations go like this 90% of the time;
A: hi
B: hi
A: wanna trade
B: no.
A: okay.
-A is now offline-
and that's it. I'm sick of traders. go to a trade server or don't play at all because you're ruining the game for others.
ehem... sorry for the rant. couldn't help myself.

hmm it sound like you don't play on official valve servers. Unless you like to stick to some heavily modded maps, like Maro Kart etc. Then things like that happen a lot.
I personally don't find a lot of people spamming with a trade. and if somebody is -indeed- annoying, I start a vote against him, marked as "spam". people usually follow it.

my personal favorite gamemode is versus Saxton Hale so that figures XD
yeah i try to kick them but that doesnt work if 50% of the people in the server are trade-aholics (as i like to call them)

So he knew about the Rescue Ranger being good and complained about not getting to buildings in time?

Great work man, as i can expect from you.
Though i have to say some things:
I agree the Eureka Effect is a bad choice for Mann Vs Machine, but i thought it was FAR worse before it's change. Back then, you couldn't move buildings at all with it, which pretty much guaranteed it would be destroyed every time a sentry buster spawned.
I personally think the Southern Hospitiality is an OK choice, it's not something i'd use in a serious game of MvM, but it does have some use in lower difficulties. Bleed damage can be useful against Robot spies, and, to be honest, if you get close to a Robot Pyro as Engie, you're ****** anyway.
I really agree with Strict about Mann Up though, there people at least tend to be a bit competent at least, in boot camp i usually have no luck finding a decent team.
Haven't played MvM for quite a while (ever since i got my first botkiller). I should start do it again.
Just my opinions.

1. I know it was far worse. I thought that EE after update might be somewhat useful on MvM but it's still not.
2. Don't forget about flare gun pyros. Bleeding is just a little more damage. It won't kill the spy and you'll unnecesarily get more damage from fire.
3. Yeah, people on MvM play way more serious because everybody wants to finish it as soon as possible and get their prizes.

This one has to be my all time favorite. Anytime an Engineer needs direction, I'll be sure to forward this to them and let them know "Menaria made this."
Nice job, lass! ... Oh, and Sir.

Gah', these comics make me want to start playing MvM again.
But then, I can never find a team of friends to play with... ;-;
Nice work on the comic though.

Thanks for the tips on the weapons, Sir!
Personally, I use the Stock Wrench and the Wrangler for Secondary & Melee. For Primary, I'm more used to the Frontier Justice than the other shotguns; mostly because of the Revenge Crits that you get when your Sentry is destroyed. I do have a Rescue Ranger, but I've yet to actually use it.
