this is really beautiful the subtle subdued colors bleeding through looks awesome. It looks so peaceful and calm and serene, dark clouds on the right, yet light shining through the lone tree on the left

it is interesting to note how you completely changed the lighting, and despite the fact that its the same photogaph, your effects have made this completely different.
-> shadow from the tree: interesting touch. it makes the landscape feel more harshly litten - nice play on subconcious effects!
-> i dig the desaturation of the tree. it works much better for your version.
-> dimmed colors are an obvious one however again, works very well for you.
very neat. i bow to your skills!
