Description
Now something very old-fashioned again...Detailed sketch done for a fantasy short-story of mine, entitled "Wolves of the Westermarck." This is set in Robert Howard's Hyborian Age, so yes, it's Conan's Hyboria. At a time when Conan already is King of Aquilonia, a Nemedian fencing master, a Gunderland warrior and the daughter of a Pictish medicine man take on the tribes of the Pictish wilderness... just fun stuff.
This is a sketch showing the three main characters, done in pencils with some digital polishing afterwards. Drawing the figures and foreground took me about three and a half hours, with additional one and a half for the background and computer work.
hb pencil, b2 pencl, rubber, photoshop

As always, great. Yet this one touches a chord in me. In a very special way.

I'm near finishing it, but it's in German language... Don't know if I'll put it online (it's for a small local fanzine in real paper) but if there is interest, I could probably put a link here.

You will come to understand the content, but it's no way to translate a story.
Illustrations will come, but will take some time. I'm quite occupied right now

No, but I had my share of Dungeons & Dragons role playing in a time when there only was that pen & paper thing. I did a lot of those sketches then...
