I've been trying to figure out a "first" tattoo idea for quite some time now, I wanted one that was dealing with trees, but in human form, this hand, its just amazing... I would love to try to recreate this in my own way... or maybe you do it for me

Good merging of bark and hand, and some solid anatomy. The one thing that isn't working for the image, however, are the roots. They look almost like an afterthought and I'd challenge you to try and remove them in a paint program and see what happens. If you do want roots, perhaps model them off real root systems, and thicken them at the base (tip of the fingers). Right now, they look to scrawny to be real, and too neat to be realistic.

This reminds me a bit about Freddy Kreuger, from the wrinkled hand, to the sharp nails that stick out far off the hand. But instead of claws, branches stick out.
The wood-grain details/wrinkles on the hand are great!

This is really amazing and unique. All the details of the wood curves in the hand are really well done. Maybe color one or two leaves in color.It could give a style
