Description
Itkovian and the Grey Swords thank you for 10k hitsFor those who are unfamilliar with S.Erikson's novels, Itkovian (dude on the horse) is a Shield Anvil of the mercenary group called Grey Swords. (the dudes with shields to the left). Here they defend a part of a city called Capustan against the Tenescowri (which is an army of starving cannibal peasants
edit: I've done some changes. I think I'll make this one bigger and get into detailing and refining it. I have some nice ideas for it I think.

Great have the spirit of the book, and the savege battle with oponents that were turned by hunger to beasts.

Really great painting, Itkovian was the best character in that book. I'm going to have to work on some Erikson pictures now.

this piece of battle scene demands respect
reminds me of a classic renaissance paintings
I see this horse also likes men flesh, he's lucky cannibals usually don't eat horses

it is worth it
I like faving and collecting, art that have small amount of if, not the number, witch wouldn't even be noticed while rising by 1, but hell, sometimes one is so overwhelmed that he must ^^"
so this is also pleasant for me as a form of promoting good but less popular art
oh, and You're NOT obligated to return the favour, actually I prefer if you don't. Seriously.
Hmmm... Czech? Want to try communicate with some West Slavic-like language? ^^

this really is some peice o' work man, I've tried to do battle scenes on painter but it always ends up losing the rawness of a quick pencil image, which is what you've managed to pull off here! any tips dude?

paint quickly Don't get lost in details, keep the whole picture on about the same level of detail...that helps..

cheers or the advice, I tried it on my last pic and it turned out pretty cool, though incorparating it into a large scene will be a differet story

Amazing piece!
That is one of the best books I have ever read, the Tenescowri, wow, never imagined such a thing....
But then again all the stuff he comes up with is just amazing.
One of the best works inspired by his works that i have seen
