Not really. Earth Ponies 'bless the land' as it were. It's not casting a spell, it's a passive ability. Pegusai have enough magic to fly and touch clouds, but they don't cast spells. Their magic doesn't manifest through spells, just passives.

Then, you'll understand that I'm interpreting Harvest's "revenge" as someone going on a complete and ridiculously genocidal hissyfit because "someone" was picked last on the basketball team, constantly got into fights and tried to blame it on his targets, and was living with people he personally thought were twits and didn't have the brain to figure out the difference nor how to deal with it without forcing the chance that someone was gonna kill him.
In better and simpler terms, he's overreacting and "overcompensating" over things.
This doesn't help after watching Zero Punctuation at all because now I'm picking up a lot of his very colorful cynicism.
