hmmm...... first day about two hours for the rough strokes,and when it was workable again- another 3 to 4 for details.....

ah that's really encouraging. I know I shouldn't go by how other people make their art, but it seems like most everybody takes a week.. or even months to finish a painting. I usually finish in a day or two and I was wondering if somehow I was doing it wrong (though I know you can't 'do it wrong'. just an irrational worry.)

heh... i was tortured in my art class cos i was creating very fast(long ago,heh) but i always thought that to b stupid... i noticed other ppl next to me painted so relaxed that simuntaniously they drank coffe,had indepth conversations about last nights adventures while having a manicure...where when i would start-i wouldnt be in this world for a certain amount of "time" - full concentration on chaneling, and when i would snap out of it-it was usualy finished...to my teachers anoyance.
well,after i heard that it was only their way to push me further cos i had "potential"
yeah
i dont always paint like that... there are some works that take months, some that take years even.....but every once in a while i LOOOOVE just a pure raw energy unleashed!!!!
