This was without a doubt the funniest thing I saw in Samurai Jack's fifth season.as It showed that Jack isn't the only one suffering mental problems after fifty years locked in a stalemate.
Even Aku, the undisputed tyrant emperor of the whole world,
has mentally devolved to such a degree, that he is ALSO literally talking to himself.
(Only Aku seems to acknowledge that he is mentally disturbed,
and is putting himself through "Self-Therapy.")
Regardless, this is still funny to watch. Funny to think that a powerful demon lord
is suffering from depression, and needs therapy to get by.
"Take some Prozac, Aku..Or, at least eat a Snickers bar."

I think we all did..I shared in Aku's confusion over Jack's apparent immortality.

it looks like Aku is going through what you could call "a mid-life crisis".

Wonder if realizing that Ashi was his daughter and having her beat Jack broke him out of that? (I'm guessing "yes".)

The only thing that REALLY broke him out of his depression
was when Scara-something or other told him that Jack lost his sword.
(He was so delighted, that Aku even danced for a bit.)
BUT, after seeing that Jack recovered his Sword,
Aku initially tried to leave again.
Which just makes me realize that Aku REALLY isn't the tyrant that he used to be.
In the feudal era, he really was a force to be reckoned with.
BUT, on the modern age..he just sits on his throne, and sends robots
and bounty hunters to do his bidding.
RARELY does he ever leave his sanctum to do things himself.
(And, with Jack's sword in consideration, Aku doesn't even TRY to face Jack anymore.
It's like if Superman outright refused to face Lex Luthor, JUST because he has Kryptonite.)
The Centuries has weakened Aku in my opinion.

Yeah, yet still, he caused quite a lot of trouble for Jack, even when he did have his sword. And it seems, thanks to Ashi, that maybe Aku has truly won. (And yeah, I know there's one more episode, but still, everything does seem hopeless. I can't wait to be proven wrong though!)

and, there hasn't even been the average thirteen episodes.
I mean, Ten?, TEN EPISODES?!,
We waited YEARS for just ten episodes!?
I expected a bit more from Tartakovsky than just that.

Tartarkosky (I think I spelled it right?) seems to not care much about quality anymore. Perhaps not care about BOTH quality and quantity? IDK
His work on other shows seems to reflect that fact.
It doesn't look like he puts much thought in creating stories.

That post looks more like they've only lost contact with each other.
I don't think that is solid proof that they aren't friends anymore.
I'VE lost contact with old friends for years as well.
BUT, that doesn't mean we stopped being friends
(I've had reunions before that were pretty pleasant.)
Now, if you want an example of two animators
they may most likely NOT be friends anymore, then I have two names for you:
Butch Hartman and Seth McFarlane.
Given that Hartman is really into Christianity,
and McFarlane is an Atheist who LOVES to mock religion.
I doubt those two are still friends.

it is a bit fast cause jack in that armor was badass but was quickly shred apart
