Thanks! The dolls have been sold, but not this piece. It's still in the gallery though, so maybe someone will buy it.

yes, this IS super creepy, but a brilliant work, and i say bravo...ย

once again, i'm happy to have had a really lightful and happy childhood in a tiny village out in the moor, with peaceful, caring parents and enough time and space to roam wherever we chose...

thank you for sharing...

Haunting; and from a technicalย perspective the forms, overlaying proportions, and color choices are allย excellent.

Hystory says that matryoshka was inspired by the toy, which arrived from the Japan. The creepyness of this picture fits that fact so well

And the size of the doll was caused by the radiation

Hahaha. I get the joke, but I'm pretty sure radiation only applies to living things

MjrKime In reply to ShanaPatry [2014-11-19 07:14:40 +0000 UTC]

Yes, it is. I am pretty sure too, because I'm working with it... Yet I just couldn't resist telling a stupid joke xD

Oh ? You work with radiations ?

MjrKime In reply to ShanaPatry [2014-11-28 15:11:42 +0000 UTC]

I'm studying to graduate as an analytical chemist and the method I'm working with for the diploma is x-ray analysis. It's not dangerous, but I had to learn a lot of stuff about radiation.

Ooooh.. Seems like you have a lot of work to do in school haha I didn't study radiation, but I've read and watched any article/documentary about Chernobyl/Prypiat.. And I own an authentic liquidator medal :3

I've graduated from school 4,5 years ago) It's for my university diploma =3
Cool stuff you have there =3 It would be very educational to visit places that are avaliable for extreme tourism in Chernobyl. It's like a part of post-apocalyptic world coming alive. Nature is growing, human world extinguishing.

I know, it's so pretty and peaceful but dangerous at the same time.. Definitely the first place I go if I ever win at the lottery haha.

MjrKime In reply to ShanaPatry [2014-12-08 12:29:43 +0000 UTC]

I always thought that after winning the lottery people are usually going to the mall and buying a lot of useless stuff xD this is like an instinct xDD
