I like it, the title is very fitting. It looks like communication in sound waves, and I like the desaturated smooth look.

Very smooth. This is Phong-worthy. (www.phong.com) Nice one.

Waves...light waves or sound waves...two different waves, coming from opposite directions...meeting an obstruction and bouncing back and around. Nicely and subtly dramatic.

It takes a lot of time to learn control. understanding how apophysis renders(chaos game) is a really big help too. after a lot of trial and error, i've found which variations mix well (no wispy junk), which ones are best on their own, and which ones suck for my style of flames.

Nice and clean. I could see this hanging up in an office somewhere.
Great job.

Cool.
Out of curiosity, I haven't talked to many people doing prints. And was wondering. (Cause I do have some printed in a gallery here in town) I do most of mine around 4500x3000 (as an example) I know this should make a good 5x7 print, If it is at around 600dpi. Is there an apo setting that I may have overlooked to set the dpi to 600 or .....?

there really is no dpi setting for images on a computer. the computer only cares about the number of pixels. if you want a 5x7 @ 600 dpi then you want a 3000x4200 render. 300 dpi should be excellent quality though. as for my images, i mostly render at 5400x3600 to make a 36x24 image at 150 dpi.
