Great. Also you can get fantastic shapes with a simple modification.

    //double t = log(r);
    double t = tightness * log(r) + M_1_PI*(a+M_PI);

Where tightness is a double See by yourself

Really interesting... As a random suggestion, wonder if it has to be circular...
Some targetn would produce interesting effects

Well ... change this

double r = sqrt( sqr(FTx) + sqr(FTy));

to a suitable definition of polygons...

See loonie2.c source code. There is a piece of code that does that already... Plus it's exportable mostly anywhere (in any plugin!) with eyepopping results

Just be careful at the end, with sqrt() and sqr()...
