This looks like a great painting of a mysterious golden forest. Especially like the lines on the road that are the shadows of the trees. This is so perfect it might even be a photograph!

That road is a perfect playground with a lot of potential shots... 500 metres or so of a twisted road like that. There are four shots of it in my gallery already. I don't think I had to play around with that picture much, the original frame also looks golden like this. Probably had a brown filter on.

I'll be trying to throw some other shots from this day into scraps pretty soon. It was pretty close, but presumably through a light filter. The light in winter over here can be quite unreal with the sun really low all day.

Well, the camera data doesn't lie, only now I noticed that myself. I thought it was early spring.. basically there was just frost but no snow hence the autumnish feeling. And one of the very few sunny days that winter. The sun shines really low here in the shorter days, so the light is almost monochrome and it likes to become red too.

I might have used one, don't remember actually. it could have been either that or deliberately messed up white balance. Both are cool
