Description
This was my illo for The Line It Is Drawn 54: Goodbye to the Old DCU . It was a sad time, I must admit. I chose a suggestion made by TLIID regular, Zack Williams , which allowed me to pay respect to Milestone Comics characters. Two years later, I still remain very sad about the loss of Xombi . I really enjoyed that book.Thank goodness I can still enjoy a few Milestone characters in Young Justice since I can't get my fill of them in comics.
Anyway, I hope y'all digs!

One of the most underrated comics I think. I recently had to urge to read a bunch Milestone comics. Its sad that the only real prominent ethic character is Storm of the X-Men, on one else seems to get any push.

It is unfortunate that you don't see as many heroes and villains of different ethnicities, even to this day. I grew up watching Static Shock and it amazes me how Dwayne McDuffie fought so hard to bring diversity (racial, gender, ethnic, religion, etc) to the superhero world and he was a incredibly gifted writer.

It's very unfortunate how our society continually reinforces the notion that diversity is only good up to a certain age. Thank goodness we had Dwayne McDuffie to champion this issue in media that we love and care so much about. He left a void no one person can fill. He's a phenomenon.

Thanks, dudes! Yeah, it ranges from sad to infuriating how DC decides to do lots of things. Very frustrating as a fan.
I love your take on Hardware and, yup, I totes figured we'd get more Static love as many characters from canceled titles are still being shuffled off into other books, but nope. Talk about apparent sabotage.
