I love the sense of atmosphere in this picture, it really makes me have a good look and imagine what's going on. I especially like the smaller details such as the cars and the guy or girl standing looking at something (I rather like the fact you don't know exactly what they're looking at.)

As ever, wonderful work

Thanks I had wanted to give the conceptual environment an M.C. Escher vibe with a puzzle solving landscape of tricky illusions, false paths/stairs, a labyrinth of choices.

Ah I wondered if that's what you were going for with the angles of the stair cases and such!

It was my pleasure, you have such wonderful work

Yea.. I don't know if you have seen The Labyrinth with David Bowie; I would assume yes, if so.. I wanted what would eventually be a 3D game world to have that feeling of false links/paths from various points of views. Some of the scenes in The Labyrinth provided that where you might see a face but it's a rock structure closer to the camera paired with another further away; while at the right angle they create a seamless face.
So this world would play tricks on the viewers eyes in addition to puzzle solving paths and ways of figuring out how to bypass broken stairs, ladders and getting from point A to B. While obtaining elements that might help the player in these goals. This would just be an exploration and maneuvering element to the world; while there would be other puzzles to solve similar in nature to some of those from the Tomb Raider franchise, but using ideas relating to this world/story.

It's one of my favourite movies , like you I really enjoyed the clever use of angles and illusions, I think it really helps create a very mysterious world.

I'm very interested in your idea of a whole game done in this style, I don't think I can think of another game off the top of my head that shares the same qualities as what your idea has. I really like the sound of figuring out puzzles in such a strange and misleading world, it would make for some great (and probably frustrating) game play. But what's a good game without tricky/pesky puzzles! I think if anyone can follow through with this intriguing idea, it's certainly you. You have not only such a gift for alluring art, but a very unique style and definitely the imagination to carry it through .

It has to do with the story; it's a personal project I have had in my mind for a long time but have not found the time to complete.
