Description
I suspect the poor Doctor's book would end up in the "Fiction" section, even though every word (especially the ones about the ladies) was true.Related content

Well, he is an OSS Agent, it makes sense they would censor it somehow.
And to be honest, even the most miserable dropout won't believe Indy about the nuke and the fridge.

Hahaha! Absolutely! And yeah, it's fair to say they'd censor the crap out of it. By which I mean Mutt, hopefully.

I really liked Mutt as a character, but I can see why people would find him annoying.
On the other hand, Marion's return was well deserved.

Absolutely! It was a delight to see her on the screen with Indy again, and a great idea to sort of bring everything full circle. They should probably just let it end there, though.

They're actually developing and writing a 5th movie.
I'm not sure how to feel about this, despite Indy forming 1/4 of my childhood.

Not to mention the inevitable time on the stand in front of HUAC and probable blacklisting because he spent time around Soviet agents. It is, after all, May 1955 (due to what was probably the Apple-2 shot of Operation Teapot which featured a replica town), and Tailgunner Joe would really like to burnish his tarnished reputation...

Lol! No doubt, the Red Scare would definitely be trouble for our hero...

What about the incident where Indy proved Guns are better than swords and fiction shouldn't try so hard to make it appear otherwise?

It's amazing how well it distills the gun vs sword battle down to it's essence. Take that, fiction!

I can definitely see Indie having a hard time selling a book or movie about himself, just as bad as Audie Murphy. Maybe even a little bit harder.

Holy cow, I just looked up Audie Murphy, the man's the real deal! It's hard to compete with a fictional history professor superman, but Audie manages it, with aplomb.

You better believe it. Audie Murphy was like Captain America, only he didn't need no punk-ass super serum.

I can believe all of this except all the exploits with the ladies. That just breaks my willing suspension of disbelief.

I dunno, the "nuclear explosion in a fridge" bit is pretty farfetched... more so than the "melting Nazi faces"...

Haha! Yeah, I would totally believe the "face-melting" before the "safely-avoided-nuclear-blast-in-a-fridge"...

Though I'd still believe "nuking the fridge" over "Shia LeBeouf is the next Indy."

Hahahaha! Between the two, nuking the fridge is certainly the more palatable.
